A Few Days in Philadelphia

In November I had the amazing opportunity to travel to Philadelphia for a work trip. While I was there I attended one session at the MAPACA conference and then co-presented with the lead researcher of the study I'm assisting at another session. The rest of my trip was spent doing a bit of school work for a group assignment and a lot of wandering around the city.

Luckily, the hotel I was staying at was located on Market Street. This meant that I was able to walk to different tourist spots and look at the beautiful architecture of the buildings. Here are some of the photos I took during the few days I spent in Philly.

While I didn't get the chance to try a Philly cheesesteak or explore much outside of the area where my hotel was located, I did get the chance to stop into a nice little wine bar tucked off a side street. It was the perfect spot to relax before heading back home the next day. I really enjoyed my time in Philadelphia and I'd love to visit again to see more of the city.

Have you ever been on a trip to Philadelphia? What were your favourite places to visit in the city?

Until next time,
