Seven Lives Tacos
Happy Taco Tuesday! Last weekend, a friend invited me to join her at Seven Lives Tacos in Kensington Market. Since it was incredibly busy in the small dining space, we brought our tacos and sodas over to the park nearby and enjoyed our lunch there.
I went with two tacos: the Gobernador (on the left) and the Baja Fish (right). The Gobernador was piled high with shrimp, tuna and cheese, and it was absolutely delicious. The Baja Fish was a very large, lightly breaded piece of fish with a salsa piled on top. I definitely recommend both of them!
The tacos were around $5-6 each, which is a pretty reasonable price considering the tacos are stuffed and both included seafood. Don't forget to grab a fork though because you'll likely end up with a heap of taco insides afterwards.
Seven Lives Tacos offers a unique variety of tacos that veer from the standard beef taco. There are a few other options that caught my eye, which I plan on trying out the next time I visit.
The Kensington Market is one of my favourite areas in the city to pick up food. I find it has the most unique assortment of restaurants and flavours. My other favourites include Otto's Berlin Döner and Fika cafe.
What are the best types of tacos you’ve tried? Where do you enjoy picking up tacos from?
